Corium
Designed between Argentina and Colombia, Corium represents my first foray into an international design exhibition. It was developed for Umbra’s 2025 ‘Surface Impressions’ Exhibition during DesignTO (Toronto Design Week), with the challenge of creating an object utilizing 6mm-thick recycled leather.
As part of Amunì, I had the opportunity to submit concepts that were selected to be refined and develop a working prototype, which was leter produced by Amunì using local components and manufacturers in Medellín, Colombia.

Corium was designed around a 6mm proprietary recycled leather blend, and comes in two colors:
black and brown.

Corium actually began its life as a hanging lamp,
but was later changed to meet an exhibtion requirement.
